Prior to Coming to Our Office...
You will be asked to fill out some digital forms that will be reviewed prior to your arrival such as medical history, dental history, your main goal of treatment, and insurance information.
By the time of your appointment, we hope to inform you of how much insurance coverage you have so you can decide which options are best for you.
Once you have checked in from your car, we will let you know that your room is ready for you. Upon entry, your temperature will be taken and some standard COVID questions will be asked.
Dr. Valins will meet you in your exam room and she will ask you questions such as:
1. What is your main goal in having treatment?
2. Have you previously had orthodontic treatment?
A full orthodontic examination is given and documented. If you wish to move ahead at this time, digital panoramic (entire mouth at once) and cephalometric (side of head) x-rays will be taken. Photographs of the inside of your mouth and head shots along with a 3D scan of your teeth, using our iTero scanner, will be taken.
You may even have a chance to see what your teeth can look like after correction!
After all the information is analyzed, an accurate fee for treatment will be given and may choose from several payment options that work best for you.
What happens after this depends on which method of correction is chosen.
